The Normandy Fire District
The Northeast Ambulance & Fire Protection District provides fire fighting and emergency ambulance services. It encompasses the cities of Bel-Nor, Bel-Ridge, Bellerive, Beverly Hills, Cool Valley, Country Club Hills, Glen Echo Park, Normandy, Northwoods, Norwood Court, Pasadena Hills, Pasadena Park, Pine Lawn, Velda City, Velda Village Hills, Uplands Park and a small portion of unincorporated St. Louis County. The District protects approximately 45,000 people residing in approximately 15,000 housing units as well as the University of Missouri-St Louis and all businesses located within the fire district’s boundaries or geographical area.
The Normandy Fire District is holding its annual fundraiser next month at our main fire house in Normandy. Last year we raised a record amount and we hope to continue the trend this year as well. Tickets are now on sale, and the price will be rising as the fundraiser nears, so get your tickets ASAP!
We are holding a silent auction this year, and have already received many donations. If you would like to make a donation (no donation is too small), please contact us for more information. Here is a list of the few companies who have already made donations, or are helping with other fundraising tasks:
- PortableOffices.org – we needed an portable office trailer for a bunch of administrative tasks and they offered to help us out. If you are looking for a portable office rental you should check them out, there’s a bunch of mobile offices and office trailers to choose from.
- Richard’s Rib Company – they offered to cater the fundraiser with their mouthwatering ribs, bbq chicken, and assorted side dishes. If you’ve never had Richard’s ribs, you’ve never lived.
- St. Louis Rams – They’ve offered to donate a signed jersey from star quarterback Sam Bradford, and 4 tickets to their home opener.
